Funeral services for James Frank "Jim" Woodard, 87, of Rio Vista, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2022 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 9 -10 a.m. prior to the service.

Jim Woodard passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Bono, Texas on January 19, 1935, the son of Florence (Carmichael) and John Woodard.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sandie Taylor; grandchildren, James Chesley Jaggars and Monte Jay Jaggars; and brothers, Bo Woodard, Bill Woodard, and Jay Woodard.

He is survived by his daughters, Melinda Jaggars and husband, Monty, of Rio Vista and Lori Marin and husband, Jeff, of Plano, Texas; brother, Charles Woodard and wife, Debbie, of Cleburne, Texas; grandchildren, Monika Dumas and husband, Jason, Melani Ringer and husband, Craig, Josh Taylor and husband, Brian Finch, and Jenna Taylor and wife, Keisha Leatherman; great grandchildren, Dylan Dumas, Ashton Ringer, Caelan Ringer, and Danny Dumas; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
