Jimmie Eugene Venturi

Jimmie Eugene Venturi, 86, of Cleburne, Texas passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born October 13, 1936 in Mingus, Texas to Faustino "Jimmie" and Clara B. (Etheridge) Venturi. He married Dorothy Ragsdale on June 9, 1959 in Graham, Texas.

Mr. Venturi joined the United States Navy during the Vietnam era and went on to serve his country for 23 years as a senior chief aviation electronics tech, retiring in 1979. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Cleburne. Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy Venturi of Cleburne; daughters, Susan M. Nash of Cleburne and Brenda M. Hopp of Arlington; son, Jimmy M. Venturi of Coweta, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Monday, June 26, 2023 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
