Services for Joan Marie Adams 92, of Alvarado, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Greenacres Memorial Park in the Mausoleum Chapel. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Marty Olson, Matthew Holcomb, Bill Holcomb, Chase Long, Joshua Holcomb, and Jimmy Holcomb.

Joan Marie Adams passed away August 18, 2023 in Fort Worth. She was born February 19, 1931 in Whittier, California to Bernice (Blay) and Leslie Lanier.

Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a traveler, who loved cruising and the casinos. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Adams; son, Ron Long; and grandson, James Holcomb.

Survivors include her daughters, Bernice Holcomb of Wichita Falls, Helen Rash and husband, Richard of Cave Creek, Arizona, and Doreen Adams of Wichita Falls; son, Donald Adams of Alvarado; brother, William "Bill" Lanier of Corona, California; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
