Mr. Jose Adrian "Joe" Trevino, Sr., age 66, passed away on April 19, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas.
Born on January 4, 1959, in Rio Grande City, Texas, Joe lived a life defined by hard work, deep devotion to family, and an unwavering generosity of spirit.
Joe was the beloved husband of Anabel Trevino for 43 years and the proud father of four children: Jose Trevino Jr., Joanna Trevino, Lauro Trevino, and Abigail Trevino. His family grew to include daughters-in-law Megan Trevino and Jessica Wilkerson; sons-in-law Brandon Elliott and Derek Quinn; and a cherished group of grandchildren: Falon Trevino, Leighton Gibson, Chelsei Long, Jetta Anderson, Cooper Trevino, Kolten Trevino, Jocelyn Trevino, Charlie Trevino, Theodore Trevino, Zachary Hayes, Christian Hayes, and Isabella Hayes. He also held a special place in his heart for his grandpuppy Elsa.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenza O. Trevino and Rene G. Trevino; and his granddaughter Julie J. Trevino.
A skilled carpenter by trade and passion, Joe found joy in working with his hands-crafting not only structures but also memories that will endure for generations. He loved traveling and taking vacations with his family, creating lasting bonds through shared adventures. Horses held a special place in his heart as did the occasional trip to the casino-simple pleasures that brought him happiness.
To those who knew him, Joe was more than just a hardworking man-he was a selfless soul who never met a stranger. Whether someone needed help or simply a friend to talk to, Joe was always there with open arms and an open heart. Though he may not have possessed great material wealth, he lived a life rich in love, kindness, and connection.
He is remembered fondly by all his brothers and sisters as well as numerous aunts and uncles who were part of the extended family that meant so much to him.
May the memory of Mr. Jose Adrian "Joe" Trevino Sr. bring comfort to all who knew and loved him. His legacy of compassion and strength will live on through the many lives he touched.
