Funeral services for Josephine “Jo” Bayne, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, at The Heights with Pastor Billy Philips officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery with Pastor Barry Whitehead officiating.

There is no visitation scheduled.

Jo passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Denison, Texas on November 25, 1943, the daughter of Marie (Hamm) and Angelo Weda, Sr. Jo married James “Biff” Bayne on June 23, 1973, in Houston, Texas.

Jo was a member of The Heights and was known at church as “Miss Millie Scripture Verse”. Serving her community in many areas, she was known around town as “JoBayne” and was the top Real Estate Producer in Johnson County for many years. She loved her family and delighted in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jo loved Jesus and spent her last day at church worshiping her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, James “Biff” Bayne; brothers, Angelo Weda, Jr. and Tony Weda; sisters, Jean Palmer; and her grandson, Braden Estes.

Jo is survived by her son, Johnny Westerman; daughters, Tracy Estes and husband, Gary, Janna Horn and husband, Bob, Audrey Dick, and Stephanie Philips and husband, Billy; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
