Keith Crocker

Rodger Keith Crocker (Keith), a servant of the Lord Jesus, crossed over into eternity on September 26, 2022 at the age of 66 at his home in Cleburne, TX.

Keith was born in Fort Worth, TX on April 1, 1956 to James and Cora Lee (Locke) Crocker. He graduated from Cleburne High School in 1974, and went on to work in the oilfield in Texas and Louisiana for many years before returning to school to study nursing. He married Suzanne Farmer on February 7, 1998 and soon after they purchased the Crocker family farm to continue a legacy of faith and hard work together. Keith retired from nursing in 2021.

He loved the farm that he called home as a child and then again for the last twenty-plus years. There was rarely a job too big, or too small, for him to tackle, and if you were lucky enough to work with him on one of those projects, you were bound to him for life. He both loved and appreciated hard work.

Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved his wife, all of his kids, grandkids, great grandson, and his siblings and their families. He loved having a place for people to gather and never backed away from a friendly game of cornhole or washers in the yard. He loved LSU football and the Dallas Cowboys. He came to appreciate Texas A&M and Texas Tech because he genuinely cared about what mattered to those he loved.

Keith loved Jesus. He was a man of deep faith, and over the course of many decades, shared that faith with others in various ways. He shared his faith as a youth leader at his church and in private conversations with friends and family. He was passionate about helping people find freedom through The Journey and recently through a ministry called ReGen. The primary way that he shared his faith was by simply living a life that showed the love of Jesus to the people around him. This legacy of faith will live on through his friends and family.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents, James and Cora Lee Crocker.

Rodger Keith Crocker is survived by his wife of 24 years, Suzanne Crocker of Cleburne, TX;  children, Aaron Farmer (Lia Austin), Angela Naquin (Corey Naquin), Jody Crocker, and Justin Crocker, as well as his grandchildren, Graham (Mykah) Naquin, Zoe Billeaud, Gabriella Naquin, Gavin Naquin, Abby Farmer, Jonathan Farmer, and Roscoe Crocker;  and one great grandson, Shepherd Naquin.  Keith is also survived by his siblings, David (Christine) Crocker, Paul (Sharon) Crocker, and Leanne (Dayne) Lamar as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 30 at 10 a.m. at Cleburne Bible Church.  Dr. David denHartog and the Rev. Dean Elliott will officiate. Flowers or donations may be sent to 930 N. Nolan River Road Cleburne, TX, 76033.
