A memorial service for Kenny Lee Manning, 78, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Kenny Lee Manning, born December 9, 1947, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gayle Manning, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.
Kenny is survived by his son, Johnny Carnley and wife Tonua; and his daughter, Leta Medlock and husband Jeff. He was a proud grandfather to Mike Cannon and wife Tracy, with great-grandchildren Landon Cannon and Kaden Cannon; Brad VanMarter and Chelsie VanMarter, with great-grandchildren Westyn VanMarter and Braxtyn VanMarter; grandchildren Dylan Medlock; Matthew Medlock and his partner Jovie Okazaki.
He is also survived by his granddaughter Amy Campbell, with great-grandchildren Rowdy Campbell, Corbin Campbell, Addyson Campbell, and Cason; and by granddaughter Taylor Estes and husband Trey Estes, with great-great-grandchildren Kaidence Estes, Tristan Estes, Wyatt Estes, and Brayson Estes.
Kenny was preceded in death by his granddaughter Shalia Holland. His legacy continues through great-grandchild Shyanne Carnley, and great-great-grandchildren Sebastian Carnley and Graylon Carnley; as well as great-granddaughter Liberty Glover, Axton Dillard.
Known affectionately as “Pops,” Kenny was loved by many. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He cared for everyone around him, always putting others first, and lived a life grounded in humility and generosity. A man of few words but immense heart, his quiet strength touched all who knew him.
Kenny proudly served his country in the United States Army. His legacy of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering love for his family will live on in the countless lives he impacted.
He will be deeply missed.
