Dora Shafer Tice Kent
Burleson – Services for Dora Shafer Tice Kent, 76, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2011 at Marystown Baptist Church in Joshua. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rosser Funeral Home.
Dora went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 4, 2011 in Cleburne.
She was retired from Gearhart Industries and a member of Marystown Baptist Church.
Dora loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Kent; daughter, Cindy Howell; great-grandson, Carter Tice; father of her children, Leonard Tice; and brothers, Bob, Billy and Willie Shafer.
Dora is survived by her sons, Carl Tice and wife Sheila of Fort Worth, Kenneth Tice and wife Betty of Cleburne, Robby Kent and wife Kendra of Cleburne; daughter, Susan Townsend and husband Barry of Cleburne; step-daughters, Wanda Naven and Juanita Baxter both of Cleburne; sister, Lillian Rotenberry and husband Chester of Rio Vista; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; precious pet, Charlie Brown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Mission Hospice at 505 N. Ridgeway Dr. #173, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
