A memorial service celebrating the life of Michael Wayne Lawson, 61, of Calgary, Canada, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Godley Western Fellowship, 988 N. Pearson St. (FM 2331) in Godley, TX 76044.
There are no other services scheduled.
Mr. Lawson passed away peacefully in Calgary on Friday, June 13, 2014. He was born on March 12, 1953, to Wilbur and Betty Lawson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wilbur Lawson, Jr.
Mr. Lawson is survived by his wife, Rose Lawson of Calgary, Canada; sister, Trisha Martin and husband, Michael, of Whitney, TX; sons, Michael Joe Lawson and wife, Jill of Mansfield, TX and Jason Lawson and wife, Lauren, of Godley; daughters, Angie Whitman and Christie Fox and husband, Ronny, all of Godley; step-children, Melanie, Nadia, Omar, and Ali, all of Calgary; 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
