Obituary

A memorial service celebrating the life of Leonard Ray “Lenny” High, 53, of Rio Vista, Texas will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Chisholm Trail Church with the Rev. Wade Yarbro officiating. 

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Lenny High passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at his home. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 9, 1972, the son of Alma Earline (Baker) and Ellis Henry High, Jr.

On June 28, 2015, Lenny married Christina Menikheim in Fort Worth. He served his country in the United States Army and was a diesel mechanic with Ben E. Keith. Lenny enjoyed all kinds of mechanic work and working with his hands in general. He loved billiards, motorcycles, logic puzzles…he was a problem solver, and 3-D printing.

Lenny loved his family and seeing people better themselves. He was a member of the Chisholm Trail Church in Rio Vista.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis High, Jr.; step-father, Mickey Whitehead; and brother, Rocky Whitehead.

Lenny is survived by his beloved wife, Christina High of Rio Vista; mother, Earline Beck; sons, Dareian High and spouse, Aneta Aleksandrowicz, of Godley, Texas, Andrew Moeller of Rio Vista, and Christopher Moeller of Cleburne, Texas; daughter, Larissa Moeller and spouse, Jacob Brown, of Covington, Texas; brother, Keith Whitehead of Florida; sisters, Terri Fager and spouse, James Lane, of Granbury, Texas, Nina Phillips and spouse, Donald Phillips, of Forrest Hills, Texas, and Andra Campos of New Hampshire; granddaughter, Eliora “Ellie” High; a grandson on the way, Clyde Brown; and many other family members and friends.
