Graveside services for Linda Joy Burkett, 80 of Blum, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne with Dr. David denHartog officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Kris Burkett, Mike Burkett, David Burkett, Camdyne Burkett, Chase Burkett, and Corbin Burkett.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Linda passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Hillsboro, Texas. She was born in Benbrook, Texas on November 23, 1942, the daughter of Louise Warrenetta (Allred) and Guyle Burkett.

Linda grew up in Benbrook and Fort Worth, Texas and attended Ridglea West Elementary School until the family moved to Blum when she was 13. She then attended Blum schools. Linda attended and was a volunteer with the Children's Ministry at Cleburne Bible Church.

She is preceded in death by her father in 1993 and her mother in 1999; and two brothers.

Linda is survived by her brother, Warren Burkett of Blum; and other family members and friends.
