Christy Lindauer

Funeral services for Christy Gail (Cowen) Lindauer, 60, of Lubbock, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 in the chapel at Rosser Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Melson officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Boldt, Kevin Cowan, Kirk Cowan, Tom Cowan, Steve Hunter and Brad Syndergaard.
Christy was born October 17, 1957 in Cleburne, Texas, to J. and Mary Shaw Cowen. She died at her home in Lubbock, on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
Christy married John R. Lindauer on June 30, 1979, at Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne. They loved to travel together, and went on many adventures from Vegas to Ruidoso.
She was a teller for Plains Capital Bank in Lubbock for over 20 years. She loved her customers
and they loved her.
Christy, or “Critty” as she was lovingly called by her friends, adored her family and cherished her friends - to her there was no distinction between the two. She was full of laughter, a natural cut-up bringing joy to everyone blessed to know her.
Christy is preceded in death by her father, J. Cowen.
She is survived by her husband, John, of Lubbock; mother, Mary Shaw Cowen, of Cleburne; aunt, Patsy Cowan, of Cleburne; and dozens of cousins and dear friends that loved her as a sister.
