Sue Logsdon (Simmons)

Graveside services for Sue Logsdon, 84, of Morgan, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas. Pastor Clint Hopson will officiate.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Mrs. Logsdon passed away Sunday evening, August 1, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born in Cleburne on May 10, 1937, the daughter of Nettie (Drummond) and Robert Simmons.
Sue was retired, having worked at Zales and Moreland/Skillerns Drug Store in Fort Worth. She had a passion for being a nanny; which she was for several years.
Sue and her husband, Clois spent many Friday nights at music venues where Clois would play with his band, Country Ramblers. Sue would often get on stage and they would sing together.
She loved her family dearly and they were everything to her.
Sue was a member of Lakeside Village Baptist Church in Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, Clois Logsdon; son, Chip Logsdon; three brothers; and five sisters.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Robyn White and husband, Marc, of Granbury, Texas; grandchildren, Lisa Willis and Clayton Willis; step-grandchildren, Brandi Kitchens and husband, Nick, and Brittanye Cappers and husband, Brad; step-great grandchildren, Hunter, Haleigh and Shae; sister, Wanda Ellis of Arlington, Texas; brothers-in-law, Lee Davidson and wife, Nancy, of Cleburne and Donnie Davidson of Marina del Rey, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank the Bristol Memory Care staff for their loving care of our beloved mother and grandmother, Sue, and also to our many friends who have comforted us during this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
