Johnny Lynn

Johnny Lynn, of Rio Vista, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018, at the age of 52. He was born on October 28, 1965 in Lake Worth TX, to Patsy Townson. He was raised by his mother and grandparents, James Mitchell and Evelyn Bertha Townson.
Johnny recently retired from Rio Vista ISD, where he was employed for 32 years. He was dedicated to Rio Vista schools and the people of Rio Vista. Johnny’s hobbies included fishing, helping people and fixing things. His love for God, his wife and his daughters will never be forgotten. Johnny will be greatly missed and remembered always.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Sheila; daughters, Tristen Lynn and Ashley Epting; brother, Ricky Lynn and wife, Olivia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and of course, his many friends in Rio!
A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service.
