Services for Larry W. Malding, 66, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Alvarado. Burial will be in the DFW National Cemetery. Pastor Isaac Heath will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Larry passed away on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. He was born Oct. 24, 1945 in Peach Orchard, MO. to Willie Harmon Malding and Marie Harper Malding.
Larry served his country in the United States Army where he fought in the Vietnam War. He married Ruth Payne on March 30, 1986 in Hanford, CA. Larry was a psychiatric technician.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister.
Larry is survived by his wife, Ruth Lorene Malding of Cleburne; sons, Andrew S. Malding of Cleburne, Jason Malding and Danny Malding both of Calif.; special granddaughter, Nevaeh Malding of Cleburne; five other grandchildren; brothers, Leon, Kenneth and Dennis Malding all of Calif.; and sisters, Opal Carr, Mellie Hood, and Terrie Wright all of Ark., and Patsy Mink of Okla.
Memorials may be made to the Military Memorial, c/o Ruth Malding, 607 Williams Ave., Cleburne, Texas 76033.
