Rio Vista—Graveside service for Genoia Marbut, 81, of Rio Vista, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Bro. Neale Oliver will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday March 23, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Marbut passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in Cleburne, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born in Hubbard, Texas on January 18, 1931, the daughter of Annie Pearl (McDaniel) and Ambrose W. Dollar.
Mrs. Marbut was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Harvey Campbell; husband, Mack Euel Marbut; son, Calvin Marbut; brothers, Buddy, Johnnie and Wendell Dollar; and sister, Juanita Hall.
Mrs. Marbut is survived by sons, Wayne Marbut and wife, Brenda and Timmy Marbut and wife, Sandra, all of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Michael and Chelsie Marbut; step-grandchildren, Portia, Angel, Jennifer, and Aaron; and several great-greatgrandchildren; sisters-in law, Ruby Dollar, Irene Davis, Patsy Dollar, all of Rio Vista, Carolyn Marbut of Grandview, Texas, and Vera Marbut of Covington, Texas.
