Rio Vista—Funeral services for Ava Nell Capps Martin, 57, of Rio Vista, Texas will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Brian McClure will officiate.
The family will receive visitors from 2 – 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Rosser.
Mrs. Martin passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born in Midland, Texas on January 23, 1954, the daughter of Appie Josephine (Posey) and Troy B. Capps.
She married Euel W. Martin on July 23, 1976 in Waco, Texas. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother..
Ava Martin is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Euel W. Martin of Rio Vista; sons, Johnny Hall and wife, Tracey, of Joshua, and Clint Martin of Rio Vista; daughter, Robin Bradford and husband, Duane, of Rio Vista; brothers, Dorman and Roy Caps, both of Rio Vista; sisters, Glenda Eden of Moore, Okla. and Joyce Rudolph and husband, Jim, of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Halston Tidwell, Stratton Hall, Jacob Strickland, Austin Strickland, Cheyenne Schmidt, and Draven Martin.
