A memorial service for Mary Ruth King, 66, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the Pentecostal Family Church, 1000 Woodard Ave. in Cleburne with Reverend DeWaun Ashley officiating.

Mary Ruth King passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 in Fort Worth. Mary was born December 29, 1959 in Fort Worth to Charles and Glinda (Brown) Lee.

Mary was a secretary and loved spending time with family and friends. She attended Pentecostal Family Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include Mary's sons, Byron Daniel James and wife Krystine of North Richland Hills, Chad Eric James and wife Nicole of Keller, and Dillon Ray James of Whitney; brother, James Underwood of Cleburne; sister, Johnnie Jordan of Cleburne; and many other relatives and friends.
