Mary Muncy

Mary Pinkston Muncy was born the daughter of Clarence and Elouise Pinkston on February 17, 1944 in Williston Florida. 

She grew up attending primary and secondary school in Florida until meeting Gary Muncy while he was stationed in Florida with the United States Navy. 
In July 1963 they became husband and wife and relocated to Texas where she would live out her remaining years. Mary spent her adult years serving as an administrative professional and raising a family. 

Mary was devoted Christian and was saved in her teenage years. Her relationship with God shined brightly over her lifetime. Mary departed this life after a brief battle with health issues to reside in Heaven on April 10, 2023 at the age of 79. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Lane Muncy; and  Gary Muncy. 

She is survived by her brother, Carl Pinkston and wife, Martha; son, Warren (Roby) Muncy and wife, Kimberly; grandson, Wesley Muncy and wife, Brooke; granddaughter, Brittany Muncy;  great granddaughter, McKenzie Muncy; and nephews, Joe and Dan Pinkston.

Mary's Celebration of Life will be begin with a visitation at 1 p.m. April 15, 2023 at Rosser Funeral Home.  Services to immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kim Higdon of Highpoint Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers family would like charitable donations made to Highpoint Church where Mary Muncy attended.
