Obituary for Dewey Allen Maurer
Funeral services for Dewey Allen Maurer, 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30 at the funeral home.
Mr. Maurer passed away Monday, May 27, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Baltic, Ohio on January 15, 1936, the son of Mildred (Frolick) and Fredrick Maurer.
Mr. Maurer married Cynthia Farber on March 17, 1956 in Canton, Ohio. He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Maurer was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Donna Metzger, and Julia Regula.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Maurer; son, Kris Maurer and wife, Lisa; daughter, Laura Cunningham, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Colin Maurer, Nicole Brumbaugh, and Anthony Cunningham and wife, Erica; and three great grandchildren.
