A funeral service for Mervin Arlan Ensor, Sr., 78, of Covington, Texas, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Alvarado.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, June 17, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Mervin Arlan Ensor, Sr. passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Fort Worth. He was born August 19, 1943 in Clarksville, Texas to Gladus Opal (Young) and Mervin Franklin Ensor.

Mervin was retired from General Motors and loved spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Betty Sue Ensor; granddaughter, Shelly Prather; brother, Jerald Ensor; and two sisters, Phillis Lawerence Barrett and Laura France Tanchester.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Ensor of Covington; daughters, Donna Salazar and Betty Darleen Prather and husband, Phil; sons, Mervin Ensor, Jr. and husband, Eric Faught and Michael Paul Ensor; all of Covington; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
