Michael Jay
Kirkpatrick
Jan 16, 1952 — Aug 3, 2026
Mike Kirkpatrick went to reunite with his wife and family in heaven on Monday, the 3rd of August 2026.
Mike was born in Arlington, Tx and graduated from Arlington High School. Mike was a plumber by trade where he earned a Masters degree and worked for a plumbing union, Lockeed Martin, and eventually retired from American Airlines.
Mike had a few hobbies over the years which included horses, Harley motorcycles, and fishing. In his retirement he would call his brother in law Bobby Sexton anytime he heard there were fish being caught somewhere. They didn’t always bring back a bunch but I just think he enjoyed their time together on the water.
Mike also took a lot of pride in his family and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. I know he wishes he could have had a few more healthy years to enjoy them.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Dorothy Kirkpatrick; brother, Pat Kirkpatrick; sister, Linda Sexton; son, Bo Kirkpatrick; and his wife of over 40 years, Ann Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by his companion Carolina Starr; two sons, Trey Kirkpatrick and wife, Hope, and Bucky Kirkpatrick and wife, Lisa; daughter in law, Hilary Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Blayne Curnel, Mackenzie Schmidt, Allie Phillips, Hayden Kirkpatrick, Rafe Kirkpatrick, Luke Kirkpatrick, Camden Kirkpatrick, and Kamree Kirkpatrick, along with 8 great grandchildren.
Mike will be missed by all that knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2026, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
