Funeral services for Michelle Marie Mercer, 53, of Godley, Texas will be conducted at 12 p.m. Noon, Saturday, October 15, 2022 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Knox officiating.  Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne.

A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2022 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Michelle Mercer passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Xenia, Ohio on February 2, 1969, the daughter of Joyce (Baker) and David Pyles.  Michelle married Gerry Mercer on August 8, 1986 in Burleson, Texas.  She was a homemaker and was a member of Bono Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Baker; mother and father in law, J. B. Sr. and Georgia Mercer; and grandson, Levi Shaw.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Gerry Mercer of Godley; father David Pyles and wife, Rebecca, of Kennedale, Texas; daughter, Camie Shaw of Granbury, Texas; sons, Kenneth Mercer, Jacob Mercer, and Joshua Mercer, all of Godley; sisters, Denise Slack of Burleson and Pyon Stills of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, Mark Pyles of Burleson and Michael Harmon of Ohio; five grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
