Elva Lela Morris
Funeral services for Elva Lela Morris, 91, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2011 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at Beth Haven Cemetery in Lingleville, Texas.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wershiel Johnston Jr, Michael Blakeley, Alan Blakeley, Jason Sparks, Michael “Bud” Blakeley, and Daniel Johnston.
Mrs. Morris passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at her home. She was born in Lingleville, Texas on July 31, 1920, the daughter of Millie May Lela (Hutchins) and George Abraham Hendon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Robert Hull; and 11 brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her son, Wershiel Johnston and wife, Janet, of Cleburne; daughters, Belinda Pinion and husband, Bob, of Salt Lake City, Utah and Janette Sparks of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
