Burleson—Funeral services for Dorothy L. Moxley, 73, of Burleson, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Marystown Baptist Church in Joshua, Texas with Bro. Tony Tawater and Bro. Bill Klinglesmith officiating. Burial will follow in Chalk Mountain Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2011, at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mac Perry, Travis Miller, Rene Martinez, Justin Duffy, Jay Derington, and David Moxley.
Dorothy L. Moxley passed away on Wednesday, July 06, 2011 at her home in Burleson.
She was born in Nemo, Texas on September 24, 1937, the daughter of Addie Bell (Sandlin) and J. R. Roberts.
Dorothy married Sam Moxley on May 4, 1956 in Cleburne, Texas. She was a homemaker and was a member of Marystown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Troy Moxley.
Dorothy L. Moxley is survived by her husband, Sam Moxley of Burleson; sons, John Moxley and wife, Donna, of Alvarado and Keith Moxley of Burleson; daughters, Cathy Weichsel and husband, Brad, of North Richland Hills and Vicki Perry and husband, Larry, of Burleson; brothers, Franklin Roberts of Glen Rose, Johnny Roberts and wife, Tee, of Ennis, and Tommy Roberts of Burleson; sisters, Doris Parker of Temple, Ella Mae Hathcock and husband, Roger, and Clara Roberts, all of Cleburne; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
