Burleson—Funeral services for Sam William Moxley, 73, of Burleson Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at the Marystown Baptist Church in Joshua. Bro. Tony Tawater and Bro. Bill Klinglesmith will officiate.
Burial will follow in Chalk Mountain Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Moxley, David Moxley, Jay Derington, Patrick Perry, William Perry and Justin Duffy.
Mr. Moxley passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born in Stephenville, Texas on May 8, 1938, the son of Maggie (Russell) and John Nolan Moxley.
Sam married Dorothy L. Roberts on May 4, 1956 in Cleburne. He was a member of Marystown Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy; son, Troy Moxley; and brother, Johnny Leonard Moxley.
Sam Moxley is survived by his sons, John Moxley and wife, Donna, of Alvarado and Keith Moxley; daughters, Cathy Weichsel and husband, Brad, of Richland Hills, Texas and Vicki Perry and husband, Larry, of Burleson; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
