Merrilyn Genise Newman, 76, of Joshua, Texas passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 02, 2011 in Burleson, Texas.

Mrs. Newman was born in Emmitsburgh, Iowa on July 17, 1935 to Carmella and Leroy Graham.
She was a retired nurse.
Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, and two sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Chuck Davis and wife, Sonia; and Marshall Davis, all of Joshua.
