Nora Burns

Funeral services for Nora Lanell Burns, 71, of Joshua will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 20, 2022 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Steve Dill will officiate.

Nora Lanell Burns passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 in Joshua. She was born May 9, 1951 in Lubbock to Ola (Busby) and Cody Pendley.

Ms. Burns worked as a school custodian. Nora had a servants heart and loved all her family, always putting them first. She had a passion for animals big and small and loved all God's creatures. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Cheyenne Basham and great-granddaughter, Violet Skye Burns.

Survivors include her daughters, Marsha Basham and Jaime Burns, both of Oklahoma; brother, Winston Pendley and wife, Elizabeth of Burleson; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; niece, Gina Johnson and husband Mark Johnson; nephew, Cody Pendley and wife Kimberly Pendley and many other relatives and friends.
