Funeral services for Oleta Barrett, 87, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2026 in the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow in Baker-Lain Cemetery with Cody, B.J., Wyatt, Taylor, Tyler and Toby serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Whitlock.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.

Oleta Barrett passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026 in Cleburne. She was born in 1939 in Norman, Oklahoma to John J. and Effie Mae Johnson.

Oleta was a computer science teacher for Hill College and a member of Bethel Temple Church. She enjoyed crafting, crossword puzzles, crocheting, and learned to do oil paintings. During her many travels she was blessed to go and visit Israel. Being very inquisitive, Oleta was an avid reader of Christian books. Her love for the Lord and her family was evident in all she did. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one grandson, and one great granddaughter.

Survivors include her five children; two daughters-in-law;15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; many other extended family and dear friends.
