Funeral services for Patricia Marie "Pat" Brown, 74, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Grandview.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas.
Pat Brown passed away Monday, October 17, 2022. She was born December 23, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Marcella (Bartak) and Harold Reynolds. On October 7, 1994, Pat married Don "Chip" Brown, Jr. and they enjoyed 28 loving years together.
Working in the communications field, she retired from Alltel after 19 years of service as installation and repair supervisor.
Pat was strong in her faith. She was active in the First Baptist Church of Grandview for over 47 years, serving on various committees.
An active member of her community, she served on the board of the Johnson County Child Advocacy Center and the Grandview Garden Club. Her love for gardening was her passion. She enjoyed preparing a beautiful place for friends and family to visit.
A music enthusiast, Pat loved and enjoyed all genres, especially the Rolling Stones and she was an avid pool player known by some as a "billiard buster.
Having a zest for travel, Pat was always up for any adventure, especially Louisiana.
Positive, family oriented, fun loving, helpful, and joyful were all qualities Pat possessed. Her tenaciousness to overcoming adversities will be remembered by all those who knew her. Pat's smile would light up a room and her laugh would warm your heart.
Her love for life will live in the memories of all those who loved and cherished her.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy (Reynolds) Mason.
She is survived by her husband, Don "Chip" Brown, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Goodman and husband, Shannon; grandchildren, Conner Paschall, Kelbi Hardy, and Kyler Goodman; brother, Herbert Reynolds and wife, Linda; numerous nieces and nephews; two forever friends, Vicki Goodman and Penny Broom; and other family members and friends.
