Patricia Lou Gossett Massengale was born on January 15, 1950, in Cleburne, TX and passed away peacefully, October 25, 2025, surrounded by family.
A graduate of Godley High School, Class of 1968, she married Gerald Turk Massengale, on October 4, 1968. Together, they built a thriving family until Turk’s passing in 2000. Pat and her family always held tightly to his memory.

She is survived by her daughter Audra Poeggel and son-in-law Fred Poeggel; son Trennon Massengale and daughter-in-law Amy Massengale; grandchildren Garrett Poeggel, Maddie Poeggel, Hunter (Brittny) Massengale and Sloan Massengale; and great-grandchildren Caden Poeggel and Elizabeth Massengale.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially over a hot cup of coffee and good conversation. She also liked a little fun at the slot machines. Her laughter and spunkiness will be deeply missed. She turned her pride in keeping a spotless home into a cleaning business that she owned for more than a decade. She also cared for children in her home. Her hard work and nurturing spirit touched many lives.

A celebration of her life will be held at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm and the celebration of life will immediately follow at 1:00 pm.
