A Celebration of Life will be held for Ricky Gene “Ricky P.” Penninger, 72, of Cleburne, Texas at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Heights Church, 1315 Grandview Hwy., Cleburne, TX 76031.
Ricky was born and raised in Cleburne, Texas and passed away on January, 10, 2021.
He was a devout Cleburne Yellow Jacket and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Ricky was a long time employee with Union Pacific Rail Road.
After he retired, Ricky focused on traveling and spending time with family and friends. Ricky was a strong advocate in sponsoring and assisting in recovering Nar-Anon participants. He had celebrated the achievement of thirteen years of clean and sober living. Ricky was an inspiration and encouragement to many.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Teresa Penninger; mother, Sara Mesecher and stepfather, Gilbert Mesecher; father James Penninger; sisters, Sue Seabolt and Luann McElya.
Ricky is survived by his daughters, Crystal Keane and husband, Dan Keane, of Fort Worth, Texas and Candice Zuniga and husband, Paul Zuniga, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Hayden and Nathan Keane, Treyton Penninger, and Kaelin Zuniga; brothers, David and Charles Mesecher; sister, Kim Murphy; nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
