Services for Margaret Ellen Powell, 76, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday May 31, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jeff Pruitt will officiate. There is no set visitation.
Margaret Powell passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Cleburne, Texas. She was born Aug. 24, 1934 in Fort Spunky, Texas to Alvin Howeth and Pauline Payne Howeth. Margaret married Gene Powell on Nov. 26, 1952 in Cleburne, Texas. She was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Powell of Cleburne; daughters, Gena Sanderson and husband Dwayne of Glen Rose, Melanie Pruitt and husband Mitch of Carrollton; grandson, Brennan Sanderson; and granddaughters, Brittan Sanderson and Brooklynn Pruitt; sister, Glenda Self and husband Bobby of Cleburne.
