A memorial visitation for Quincy Charles Hauk, Jr., 87,  will be held from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, May 13 2025 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Charles Hauk passed peacefully in Cleburne on Monday April 14th 2025 with his wife and son by his side. Charles was born to mother Luella (Scott) Hauk and father Quincy Charles Hauk on June 3rd 1937. He grew up in Woodrow Texas and attended Covington, Texas school.

Charles lived an amazing life; he was a mechanic by trade and an Entrepreneur, Peace Officer and Businessman. In 1968 he opened Hauk Garage on South Main St. Cleburne Texas. Hauk Garage is still a proud Family-owned business in Cleburne Texas. His true calling was being a Peace Officer in 1980 Charles ran for office in Johnson County and was Elected Constable Precinct 1 Charles was Honored to serve his community as Constable for Johnson County 20 years then retiring in the year 2000. Charles enjoyed working his farm in Covington Texas where for many years he raised cattle and farmed hay fields. He truly looked forward to his morning coffee at Cefco in Covington talking with good friends and seeing his great grandsons before school.

As a young man he loved drag racing and won many trophies. He enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips with his son and friends especially the many fishing trips to Old Mexico's Lake Guerrero. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Charlotte (Hauk) Tidwell, Lucille (Hauk) Jobe; and one brother, Delton Hauk

He is survived by his Wife Judy (Coffey) Hauk, Son Carl Hauk and wife Melanie, Daughter Laura Kay Branham, Stepson Richard Hamill and wife Missy, Stepson Brent Landers, Sister Laura (Hauk) Nickell and husband A.G. (Buzzy), Brother Bobby Hauk and wife Carol, Sister Judy (Hauk) Keesee; grandchildren, Greg Hauk, A.J. Hauk, John Speer, Michael Branham, Step Granddaughters Britani Blanchard and Page Hamill, 13 Great Grandchildren; and a host other extended family and friends.

Charles Hauk lived a remarkable life and will be missed by many.
