Funeral services for Rachelle Leigh "Chelly" Long, 42, of DeSoto, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2026, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Burkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with Corey Long, Richie Burns, Josh Burns, Max Greenslade, Jimmy Long, and Kristen Cooper serving as pallbearers.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. prior to the service.

Rachelle passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Hempstead, Texas on May 30, 1983.

Rachelle was sometimes described as stubborn and onery but in her heart she was a lovable prankster. She was very social and loved Luke Bryan! She enjoyed food, her favorites hamburgers and pizza, and loved watching movies.

Rachelle was preceded in death by her mother Regina Long; uncle, Bill Long; and step-dad, Barye Milam.

Rachelle is survived by her brothers, Corey Long and Sarah Ralph, Daniel Foreman, Joey Cooper, Joshua Burns and Richie Burns; sister, Kristen Cooper; uncle, Jimmy Long; aunts, Vickie Sloan, Liz Cooke, and Christy Knight; second mother, Victoria Thompson; and very special friend, Kimberly Ivey.
