Memorial services for Forrest Vincent Rees, 97, of Burleson, Texas will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Benjie Leach officiating.
Mr. Rees passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Warren, Pennsylvania on November 7, 1923, the son of Clair Wilhamina (Rachenbauch) and Delano Rees.
He married Betty Dyal Pearson in 2010.
Mr. Rees was a retired college educator and was a member the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mr. Rees is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Georgia (Self) Rees; son, Rustie; daughter, Cindy; brother Vernon; sister, Evelyn; and step-sons, Alvin Videtto, Jr., Bobby Pearson, and David Pearson.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Rees; son, Bobby Rees; brother, Harold Rees, who will be 101 in March 2021 and still works making violins; step-children, Betty Powell, Chuck Videtto, Sherry Szhanard, Leon Pearson, Robin Shaw, Timmy Pearson, Kenneth Pearson, Starlet Snell, and Billy Pearson; and three grandchildren; David, Tyler, and Travis.
