Funeral services for Reta Jane Rolston, 76, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the Landmark Baptist Church, 404 S. Caddo St. in Cleburne with Brother Cody Samford officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

There will be a time of visitation and fellowship from 1-2:00 p.m., at the church, prior to the service.

Reta "Jane" Rolston passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026 in Alvarado. She was born on October 25, 1949 in Brownfield, Texas to Roy Eugene and Ruby Margie (McNeil) Smith.She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Rolston on June 19, 1967 in Kermit, Texas and after 59 years, not a day went by without Charles and Jane saying "I Love You" to each other.

Jane was a feisty, one-of-a-kind woman who brought so much joy and personality to the lives of those around her. She had a special love for Christmas and carried the Christmas spirit with her all year long. Jane loved traveling and making memories with her husband, Charles, and she treasured the adventures they shared together. They especially loved their couples golf tournaments and her wins! Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved attending church and being part of her church family at North Coleman Baptist. She also enjoyed shopping and could always find a reason for a good shopping trip. 

Above all, Jane dearly loved her grandchildren. She was one of their biggest supporters and took great pride in showing up, cheering them on, and supporting them in all of their events and accomplishments, but most recent great granddaughter Grace would light up her eyes!  Jane will be remembered for her feisty spirit, her love for her family, her strong faith, and the joy she brought wherever she went. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Tata and Roy McNeil; and daughter-in-law, Michelle.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Charles Rolston; sons, Matt Rolston and Mike Rolston and wife Phyllis; grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan, Brittany and Joe, and Brandon and Addi; great grandchild, Grace; brother, Boe Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
