Service for Jimmy Ray Rich, Sr., 78, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 27, 2019 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Christopher Galbraith will officiate.
Interment will be at 12:30 P.M., Monday, July 29, 2019 in DFW National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jared Cabrera, Jeremy Rich, Sgt. Chancelor Rich USMC, Corbin Sullivan, Nathan Abramoski, and Jacob Abramoski.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, July 26, 2019 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Jimmy Ray Rich Sr. passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Cleburne. He was born April 1, 1941 in Maud, OK to Gertrude Elizabeth (Thompson) and Johnny Watson “Ted” Rich. He married Sharon Balch Sullivan on December 6, 1974 in Weatherford, TX.
Mr. Rich served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a cross-country commercial truck driver. He was a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stacy Rich; granddaughter, Misty; and sisters, Bonnie Holt and Betty Henshaw.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 44 years, Sharon Rich of Cleburne; sons, Jay Rich of Cleburne, Jimmy Rich Jr. and wife Trish of Joshua, and Dean Sullivan and wife Janice of Cleburne; daughter, Jill Galbraith and husband Christopher of Cleburne; grandchildren, Jared and wife Nadia, Jeremy and wife Dialfin, Chancelor and wife Renee, Matt and wife Amanda, Ellaina and husband Montana, Jami, Sarah, Corbin, Nathan Matthew, Matthew, Nathan Daniel, Jacob, Andrew, and Rachel; great-grandchild, Logan; sisters, Letha Mae Martin and Carolyn Martin, both of Boyd and June Bankhead of Azle and numerous nieces and nephews.
