Richard James Perrett, 70, of Rio Vista, Texas passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Perrett was born in Valentine, Nebraska on July 10, 1953, the son of Betty (Moorehouse) and Robert Perrett, Sr. He was a local cattle rancher.

Mr. Perrett is survived by his survived by his mother, Betty Perrett; sisters, Jeannie Shelhaas and Barb Moosman; daughters, Jayme Long and Lexie Perrett; son, Cooper Perrett; grandchildren, Landon, Riley, Skyler, Breslyn, and Gabe; and other family members and friends.
