Funeral services for Kenneth E. Richards, 70, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Richards passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at his home. He was born in Cleburne, Texas on Sept. 1, 1944 to Ola (Sullivan) and Wallace Earl Richards.
Kenneth served his country in the United States Air Force and was a retired electrician with General Motors. He loved sports of all kinds and was a lifelong softball coach, coaching his daughter and granddaughter over the years.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anita Richards; brothers, Buddy and Wayne Richards; and sisters, Barbara Henley, Elaine Richards and Ruth Davis.
He is survived by his sons, Troy Don Cogdill and wife, Karla and Kenneth Cogdill, all of Cleburne; daughter, Vickie Guthrie and husband, Tony, of Joshua; grandchildren, Justin, Layah, and Dakota Cogdill; Laci and Tyler Guthrie; sister, Judy Potts of Cleburne; and several nieces and nephews.
