It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rita Ann Elsner, 93, on November 25, 2024. Rita passed away peacefully in her sleep at Texas Health Huguley Hospital.

Rita Ann Elsner was born on January 6, 1931, in Takoma Park, Maryland, to Elton and Olive Wetmore. She was the last surviving of seven siblings. Rita was a devoted mother, medical transcriptionist, and a friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Ed Elsner (Shellane), Tami Perez (Rene), and Robert Elsner (Jenifer); her nine cherished grandchildren: Crystal, Miranda, Chuck, Rita, Bekah, Josh, Sean, Kevin, and Alex; and her beloved seven great-grandchildren: Ryan, Max, Blake, Cameron, James, Kira, and Avery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Elsner.

Services to honor Rita's life will be held at the Keene Church Chapel on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's honor to aid the Community Impact Center in Keene.
