Graveside services for Robert Eugene Ross, 81, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at Grandview Cemetery.
Robert passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, May 28, 2024 at 9:20 p.m. with his lovely wife beside him.  He was born on January 26, 1943, in Charleston, Tennessee, to his father, Ezra Ross and mother, Mildred Raines Ross.
Robert joined the United States Marines on January 1, 1968 and proudly served his country until April 27, 1971.
He married the love of his life, Uvonne, on December 13, 1977, in Kauffman, Texas.  He and Uvonne raised two sons together, Gary and Frank Miller, as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandbabies.
They lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, whether camping, fishing, traveling or just enjoying being around friends and family.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Uvonne Ross; sons, Gary and Frank Miller; two brothers; three sisters; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
