Services for Helen Rodgers, 74, of Alvarado, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial follow in Baker Lain Cemetery. Pastor Randy Free will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Paro, Chris Plunket, Tom Rodgers, Fred Tillman, Dylan Paro, and Bo Redding.
Helen went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born Sept. 15, 1942 in Cleburne, Texas to Oran Inez (Grupe) and William Thomas Tuttle. Helen was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Cross Country Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil T. Rodgers in 2013’ and sons, Larry and Jerry.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Rodgers and wife, Mary, Cecil Rodgers; daughters, Lynn Peppers and husband, Roger, Anne Poynter and husband Kevin, Sarah Paro, Lisa Vassar; sister Maggie Savage; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
