Ronald Dean
Timmons
May 31, 1960 – February 20, 2026
Ronald Dean Timmons, whom most knew as "Ronnie", went to be with our Lord on February 20, 2026, in Fort Worth, TX.
Ronnie was born on May 31, 1960, in Midland, Texas to Garland E. Timmons of El Paso, Texas and Minnie "Louise" (Burrow) Timmons of Cleburne, Texas. He attended school in Cleburne and graduated with the class of 1979.
On August 15, 1980, Ronnie was united in marriage to Cindy Crowder of Joshua, Texas at Reese Prairie Baptist Church. Together, they made their home in Johnson County where they raised their son, Mitchell Timmons. Ronnie was deeply involved in Mitchell's activities during his youth as well as an adult, with one of his favorites being a Cub Scout Den Leader.
Ronnie dedicated his entire career to the automotive parts industry in the Cleburne and Fort Worth area where he cherished the lifelong friendships he made. He had a deep commitment to serve the automotive community and was proud of his role in their success. He retired May 31, 2025, from SouthWest Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Cleburne.
Ronnie's passion was his involvement in his church, Joshua Baptist Church, where he served as a trustee and usher for 27 years. He cherished his family and his church family with all of his heart and prayed for them daily.
Ronnie was a sincere kind, gentle soul who will leave a legacy of kindness, understanding and unconditional love. He saw the good in each of us and forgave the bad. He practiced the verse Ephesians 4:32 "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted forgiving one to another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
Marked in his Bible the verse Matthew 25:13 "Watch therefore, for ye know nether the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." When God called Ronnie home he was prepared, and heard the words "Well done thy Good and Faithful servant"
