Roy Lee McClain, 89, of Rio Vista, Texas passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his home in Rio Vista.
Roy was born December 12, 1932 in Petersburg, Virginia to Mary Helen (Vaughn) and John McClain. Roy was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served on the USS Missouri. He worked as plant manager at Gifford Hill Cement up until his retirement. 
Roy was of the Southern Baptist faith and loved his Lord. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his dogs. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife of 66 years, Lois McClain; son, Barry McClain; daughters, Bonnie and Vickie McClain; grandsons, Jason McClain and Josh McClain; and brother, Johnny McClain.
Survivors include his sons, Roy McClain and wife, Lois of Grand Prairie, Randy McClain and wife, Cheryl of Rio Vista, Ernest McClain and wife, Teresa of Godley, Darryl McClain of Rio Vista; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Morris of Arizona; and many other relatives and friends.
