Alvarado—Funeral services for Mike P. Rubio, 70, of Alvarado, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Rubio passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his home. He was born in Beeville, Texas on June 6, 1941, the son of Otilia (Padilla) and Sostenes Rubio.
Mr. Rubio was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sue Rubio; Gloria Eppler, the mother of his children; and brothers, Willie, Ramiro, and Sostenes, Jr.
He is survived by his sons, Mike Richard Rubio of Lewisville, Texas and Moses B. Rubio of Keene, Texas; daughters, Rose Marie Rubio of Keene, Texas and Becky Solis and husband, Martin, of Granbury, Texas; brothers, Jesse Rubio of Mt. Pleasant, Texas and Jimmy Rubio and wife, Susie, of Shreveport, Louisiana; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
