Ruby Morris Dollar, 78, of Rio Vista, Texas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2026. Burial will follow at Grange Hall Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6- 8 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Ruby was born on August 28, 1947, in Clifton, Texas to Earl and Lena Morris. She married Wendell Dollar on August 9, 1962, in Cleburne, Texas.

Ruby worked at sewing factories for many years. She also worked at various doctor's offices and childcare facilities. The most important thing to Ruby was her family, caring for others, and telling people about God.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wendell Dollar; sister, Earlene Tidwell; and son in law, Sam Magee.

Ruby is survived by her daughters, Darla Strickland of Rio Vista and Donna Magee of Ohio; son, Kevin Dollar and wife, Anne, of Burleson, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Donny Morris and wife, Sandra, of Rio Vista; and many nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.

Her special pets who are waiting for her in heaven are Bubba, Misty, Precious, and Ginger. Her sweet Peanut was by her side when she passed away.
