Sandra Kouns Arnold, of Cleburne, passed away Sunday July 26, 2026. She will be remembered for her warm spirit, creative eye, generous heart, and commitment to the community she called home. Sandra grew up and lived in the Midway community near Cleburne on her family's homeplace. She was a proud graduate of Cleburne High School. Throughout her life, she remained deeply connected to the community.

Her career reflected both her professional talents and her passion for serving others. She worked as a realtor and later served as a marketing executive for Texas Health Resources. In every role, she brought creativity, dedication, and genuine care for those she served.

Photography was one of Sandra's greatest joys. Whether documenting community events, capturing the beauty of local landscapes, or preserving everyday moments, she had a remarkable gift for seeing and sharing the beauty around her. Through her lens, she created lasting memories that will continue to be treasured by family, friends, and the community.

Sandra was also a gifted singer who generously shared her talent throughout her lifetime. She sang in church, performed in community theatre productions, and brought joy and inspiration to countless people through her music.

Sandra was a faithful member of St. Mark United Methodist Church for more than 60 years. She loved her church family and was actively involved in its ministries, especially its music ministry, where she faithfully shared her gifts and encouraged others through worship and song.

Sandra believed in giving back to her community. She served in numerous civic and charitable organizations and was an advocate for downtown Cleburne. She helped lead the effort to revitalize Market Square, leaving a lasting impact on the heart of her hometown.

Sandra also found great joy in opening her home to others. She loved entertaining family and friends, hosting bridge games as well as welcoming members of her church choir into her home. She also cherished traveling with friends, creating treasured memories as they explored new places together. Her gracious hospitality made everyone feel welcome, and her home was a place where friendships were nurtured, music was celebrated, and lasting memories were made.

She is survived by her daughters, Allyson House and husband Tim, and Lynn Workman. She was a proud Nandee to J. Taylor and Alex Dominguez, Rev. Hayley and Andrew Shotts, Colton Workman and Harleigh Moore, Will and Megan House, and Cary Ann Workman. And so proud of her Great Grands, Drew, Dax and Demi Dominguez and Elizabeth Shotts. Sandra is also survived by her devoted dog Wyatt.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Arnold, and by her parents, Red and Eppie Kouns.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Sandra's devoted caregivers-Aimee Davis, Maira Montenegro, Camilla McCulloch, Amy Fowler and Yaneli Villasana, for the compassionate care, kindness, friendship, and dignity they provided. Their love and support brought great comfort to Sandra and her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Saint Mark United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saint Mark Methodist Church Music Ministry, The Burleson Animal Shelter, or the Alzheimer's Association of America.
