Santra Eliset Ortiz

Funeral services for Santra Eliset Ortiz, 36, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Sergio Rizo officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Rosser Funeral Home with The Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.

Santra Ortiz was born on July 10, 1987, in Cleburne, Texas, the daughter of Maria Juana (Carrizales) and Angel Ortiz. She passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. 

Santra controlled the house and managed the daily schedule. She loved to watch T.V. and I Love Lucy was her most recent favorite show. Her other favorites were novelas, horror movies, and comedies. Santra also loved music, especially Jenni Rivera. She loved Mr. Bear and he went everywhere with her. Although she had another bear who also had a place in her heart, Mr. Bear was her baby. 

Santra is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Consuelo DeLeon and Josefina Aguilar; grandfather, Visente Carrizales; and brother-in-law, Martin Campos.

She is survived by her parents, Maria and Angel Ortiz, Sr., brothers, Robert, Lupito, Angel Jr. and wife, Kathleen, Daniel, and Juan Ortiz; sisters, Idalia Ortiz-Campos, Jennifer Rodriguez, and Perlita Ortiz; nieces and nephews, Rosemary, Michelle, Christopher, Lesley, Ashly, Jose, Manny, Timothy, Isaiah, Alexis, N'Veyah, Anabel, Alex, Bridget, Abel, Halen, Genisis, Martin, Alexa, Israel, King, Mia, Yadii, Mateo, and Joziah; and other family members and friends.
