A visitation for Shirley Faye Schmidt, 85, of Cleburne, Texas will be held from 6-8 P.M., on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Shirley Faye Schmidt passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born October 17, 1935 to Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tucker.

Shirley was a retired anesthesiologist and a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church. She loved gardening and playing with her great-grandson. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Schmidt, and one daughter, Lisa Maurer.

Survivors include her grandson, Colin Maurer and wife, Lauren of Glen Rose; great grandson, Karson Maurer; and son-in-law, Kris Maurer of Cleburne; one sister, JoAnn Evans of Texarkana, Arkansas; and several other extended family and friends.
